· Went over income/expense report.

· John said that we are down this time this year as compare to this time last year.

· Dan offered to get impact report to CWL re: adding number games and what it costs to play additional games.

Commissioner’s Report: Jeff Herbine

· Jeff hasn’t closed out one call now yet.

· Trying to change from auto billing to manual billing..

Baseball: Dan Delp

· Getting uniforms 80% of them are in so far. Will inventory, label and box up.

· Trying to set up a work party

· 3 of teams were collected individually and 3 were collected as a team to coach and then coach returned them.

· Should set expectation in Spring as to what uniform return protocol is.

· Enjoying Lull in

Softball: Scott B

Field Hockey: Martina S

· Season ended with a scrimmage against Parkland followed by a pizza party.

· 11/03/08 To go over Bi-law proposals

Events and Playground: Heather P

· Meeting for Christmas party at end of November. Rental on Sat so need help cleaning

· Halloween party went well. Not as many adults this year. Don’t know why? Too many pizzas again! Entertainment (Tootsee) was great!

Buildings and Grounds: John Kelly

· Dug outs – Under construction. Two people working full time on them.

· 1st base will have storage while 3rd base no storage.

· Late fall or early spring we will be nailing down backstop.

· R-1 With property lines Gary Behr took letter to Building and Grounds committee of school board said they would support as long as they don’t incur any expense.

· Insurance Indemnification a must. As per Jack Meyers and Jack Corby

· Based on all of this we might not be able to start R-1 till next fall.

· Jeff H notices flag is tattered. Should we consider replacing?

Rentals: Martina S

New Business:

· Heather offered Constant Contact as a email service to possible start an email newsletter program. Ditributed copies of information. Will discuss more next meeting

· Mike W. Golf tournament - Trying to organize tournament in spring. $48 a round and cart, Need 120 golfers to break even. Total cost is $5760. Willowbrook - $42 per golfer need 100 golfers total $4200. Have to buy own alcohol for both.

Mike raised the question as to whether this should be a family affair or make it adults only. Will discuss and finalize at later meeting.

Good of the organization:

· Mike W. brought to our attention Field of Dreams Org and how he was impressed on what they did for the youth and how their rec area was set up. Dan D. Looking into how we could help the Miracle League.

· Next meeting Monday Dec 15 to discuss and plan signups.
