Wendy - And they lived happily ever after!
Billy - Tell us about Sleeping Beauty!
Wendy - Well, the prince woke her, and ...
Boys - And?
Wendy - And they lived happily ever after!
Tommy - Tell us about Hamlet!
Wendy - Hamlet? Well, the prince Hamlet died...
Boys - Ohh.
Wendy - and the king died...
Boys - Ohh.
Wendy - and Ophelia died...
Boys - Ohh.
Wendy - and Polonius died...
Boys - Ohh.
Wendy - and ...
Boys - And?

Michael - Wendy, I'm homesick. I want to go home.
John - I do too.
Wendy - Yes, Mother must be worrying about us.
Jimmy - Don't leave us, Wendy!
Wendy - I have to. Peter, get everything ready, please.
Peter - If that's what you want.
Wendy - You know, if you all come with me, my parents will adopt you, I'm sure!
Jimmy - Peter, can we go?
Peter - Yes, I guess so.
Wendy - Then you better get ready. You too, Peter.
Peter - I'm not going with you, Wendy.
Wendy - Why not?
Peter - I don't want to grow up and learn serious things. I want to always be a little boy and have fun. No one can make me grow up!
Slightly - We're all ready to leave.
Wendy - Peter's not coming with us.
Sammy - Peter's not coming?
Nibs - Then we're staying too.
Peter - No, no, it's OK, boys, you can go.
Wendy - Well, Peter, if you're sure. Then, good-bye.
( On the way out Captain Hook and the pirates grab the children. Hook drops a handkerchief and Peter finds it and runs to rescue his friends.)

Captain Hook - Are all the prisoners tied up?
Smee - Yes, yes, Captain.
Captain Hook - Most of them will walk the plank now, but I have room on my ship for two more pirates. Who wants to be a pirate?
Sammy - I don't think my mother would have wanted me to be a pirate. Billy, would your mother be happy if you were a pirate?
Billy - I don't think so. Would your mother want you to be a pirate, Tommy?
Tommy - I don't think so. Nibs, would your mother...
Captain Hook - Quiet!! ( to Michael ) Do you want to be a pirate?
Michael - No!! And I'll never want to be a pirate!
Captain Hook - ( to the pirates ) Bring his mother!
Wendy - Are they going to die?
Captain Hook - Yes. Do you have any last words to them?
Wendy - Yes. I think your mothers would hope that you would die like gentlemen.
Billy - Well, I am going to do as my mother hopes. What about you Carly?
Carly - As my mother hopes. What about you, John?
John - As my mother...
Captain Hook - Quiet! Tie her up and bring the plank! Michael will be first! (Peter pan and the Indians come in)
Peter Pan - No he won't! First you'll have to fight me! ( pirates go toward Peter )
Captain Hook - No men! This fight is all mine! ( duel - Hook goes overboard )
John - Peter is the bravest and strongest of all!
Everyone - Hurray!
Peter - Yes, I know!
John - Peter, won't you come with us?
Peter - No, I just can't. You know I need to stay in Never Never Land.
John - Oh well, then good-bye Peter! Come visit us!
Boys - Good-bye!
