o Posters are in-Captains/Monica will distribute them to players, sponsors and schools
o Listserv—going away 9/29, have not received communication on what we will be transitioning to-Coach Stramel will keep checking
o Coach Stramel looking for feedback on the “newsletters” that have gone out—it was agreed that it has been great to have team game summaries and program activity information---thank you to the coaches for putting this information together! With current format cannot add pictures but may be able to in the future, also will coordinate putting this up on the irishgirlssocer.com website
o Twitter-would it be worth having a parent-run Twitter to tweet game updates live and increase visibility? Ed has done a fantastic job with the Facebook account and we have a large following on Facebook, wondering if it would also be worth having a presence on Twitter during games. JV is using Team Snap to currently do this but only reaches the team parents. We could create on Twitter account that a parent from each team could use to update game information. Stacey will work on creating the account and Rich will get information out to team parents to see if there is someone from each team interested in tweeting. (Update: twitter account has been created, @rsmtgsoccer contact Stacey if you would like to tweet for your team: )

We really need more parent volunteers-especially parents of freshmen and sophomore players as we have many active parents who will be leaving the program as their daughters graduate the next two years. Most volunteer opportunities involve a few hours and one evening. Can shadow those doing the events this year to learn the job. Information on the various committees/opportunities is available on the website. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Coach Stramel or any of the board members (contact info available on irishgirlssoccer.com)
Next meeting Wednesday, October 5th at 7pm
