It is anticipated that the International Criminal Court (ICC) located in The Hague, The Netherlands, will shortly be issuing a solicitation for a Public Web Site Hosting. In this connection, the ICC is requesting expression of interest from qualified firms.
Scope of work:
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a vendor to host, maintain and provide technical support to the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) Public Web Site. The Court seeks the hardware, systems, application software, and related support services necessary to maintain the system containing all public records and Court’s related public information.
This RFP seeks to form a partnership with an established vendor to provide the required expert services and support for the ICC Web Site. Responding vendors need to demonstrate the ability to provide the services to meet the requirements outlined in this document. The Court seeks a provider that can host and support the current capabilities and design, develop, implement and support changes to meet the needs of the Court users as described throughout this RFP.
1.1. Objective
The objective of this project is to provide a stable and scalable hosting infrastructure and services for the Court’s public web site. The Court is looking for an outsourced provider, who will be responsible for the infrastructure, all hardware related services, system administration and software maintenance and can provide fully managed SharePoint services.
The public web site should bring the public and media closer to the ICC and its proceedings. Ability to provide a sustainable and reliable web site would enable the Court to gain more visibility on the Internet and on the mass media as well.
The site is in the process of being migrated to Microsoft SharePoint 2010, and this part of the project aims to grant the contract for hosting the solution.
