PAID TIME OFF (PTO)

Eligible employees hired on or after 07/01/2009 are eligible for the following PTO time:

PAID HOLIDAYS: The agency currently offers 9 paid holidays: New Years Day, President’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day

MEDICAL INSURANCE: Costs for insurance are deducted at a pre-tax basis. Health coverage is available to all full time employees. TSS and some PT employees may be eligible if they meet the requirements (at a higher rate). Refer to the available literature for specific in depth coverage information.

DENTAL COVERAGE: Delta Dental Plan. Covers 100% of Diagnostic and Preventative Care. Annual deductible per person is $50 and per family is $100. See available literature for in depth coverage information.

VISION COVERAGE: Vision Benefits of America. No deductible. Covers an exam and lenses yearly, frames every 2 years or contacts in lieu of glasses. See available literature for in depth coverage information.

EMPLOYEE RESOURCES: A list of available agencies to contact regarding mental, legal, financial, etc. types of help.

LIFE & ACCIDENTAL DEATH & DISMEMBERMENT INSURANCE: provided at no cost to full time employees. Benefit amount is twice employee’s annual salary.

LONG TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE: provided at no cost to all full time employees. Benefit is 60% of employee’s salary after 180 day waiting period.

CAFETERIA PLAN: Optional insurance benefits are available to full-time employees & their families. Included are: 1) Short Term Disability, 2) Cancer/Intensive Care, 3) Accident & Sickness. These coverage’s are optional & employee is responsible for the full cost. Premiums paid through payroll deduction & are pre-tax under Section 125 of the IRS Code.

FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT: Yearly enrollment is in January for all employees. This plan offers opportunity to set aside pre-tax dollars to use for medical & childcare expenses not covered by other insurance.

RETIREMENT PLAN: The agency offers all eligible employees (see Summary Plan Description for eligibility requirements) with the option to establish a Tax Deferred Annuity Pension Plan (403B). Refer to Summary Plan Description of the 403b for more information.

EDUCATION BENEFIT: Any full-time employee of the agency who has been with the agency at least twelve months prior to his/her date of application is eligible to apply for an educational loan from the agency. Please refer to Personnel Manual for more information pertaining to this.

CREDIT UNION: Our agency is affiliated with the following Credit Unions: Mountain Laurel Federal Credit Union offices are located in: St. Marys, Emporium, Bradford, Warren, and Kane. Visions Credit Union located in Towanda, PA. Central Keystone Credit Union located in Sunbury, PA. A wide variety of benefits are offered including low interest rate automobile & personal loans, checking and savings. Payroll deduction, no agency contribution.

VERIZON DISCOUNT: Employees of the agency who provide Verizon Wireless with proof of their employment, will receive an 18% discount on their personal wireless bill.
