PERSON SPECIFICATION - ESSENTIAL CRITERIA - Candidate must provide evidence of the following:
1.  Relevant previous experience and a track record of achievement in a communications/marketing role.
2.  Record of achievement in building strong relationships with and good knowledge of the Canadian travel and lifestyle media (all channels: Broadcast, Print, digital).
3.  Experience in event and project management with strong organisational skills.
4.  Excellent influencing and communication skills (written and oral).
5.  Demonstrate creativity and flexibility, and an ability to handle a number of projects and tasks simultaneously.
6.  Excellent IT (Microsoft Office) and digital /social media skills.
7.  Budget management skills with demonstrable attention to detail.
8.  Strong team player with well-developed interpersonal skills and a proven ability to manage effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
PERSON SPECIFICATION - DESIRABLE CRITERIA - Candidate must provide evidence of the following:
1.  Educated to degree level with a qualification in marketing / communications / business.
2.  Good knowledge of the island of Ireland and its tourism product.
