OBJECTIVE / : / At the end of the course, students will be able to:
1.  critically analyse concepts of philosophy, philosophical ideas in education and fundamental concepts in education (C4, LL2)
2.  discuss ethics as the basis of teaching professionalism.

4.  provide the rationale to the philosophy, principle, and implementation of the educational system in Malaysia based on its development (CTPS3)
SYNOPSIS / : / This course encompasses concept of philosophy and philosophy of education; western traditional and progressive educational philosophies; Islamic educational philosophy; eastern educational philosophies; National Philosophy of Education; analysis of concepts related to education; ethics in teaching profesion; development of the Malaysian educational system since the pre-British era; philosophy of educational policy implementation; and organisation of educational administration in Malaysia.
