44th ANNUAL TOURNAMENT
The Mayfield Boys’ Baseball League proudly announces its 44th Annual Tournament. This years’ format will be a one weekend tournament held on July 11th, 12th and 13th. This year’s format will be different. We will place teams by each age group: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14. We will have two flights for each age group and the winner of each flight will play each other for the championship. Flights will be limited to four teams each and we will make our best effort to keep the divisions competitive. All championships will be played on Sunday July 13th. Teams should expect to play at least three games. The entry fee for this year’s tournament is $295 for 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 year olds and $340 for 13 and 14 year olds, NEW HS U15, U16, U17 $420.
Ages are determined prior to May 1st.
Play will begin on Friday, July 11th, 2008 at approximately 6:00 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday the first games will start at 8:00 a.m. As a participant your teams are eligible to register early to secure a slot in the tournament, prior to May 21, 2007. No scheduling conflicts will be recognized unless tournament director is notified with applications. No scheduling guarantees can be made regarding days or times to be played.
Bracketing will be determined by the tournament committee and tournament director.
Make sure you identify your team as Travel or In-House on the form. Travel teams play in leagues other than community based.
The tournament schedules, rules & roster sheets will be mailed out two weeks prior to the tournament. Bring completed rosters to check in tent before first game. If there are any questions, please contact the tournament manager listed below:
