When you request Show Me Nutrition Education Displays, University of Missouri Extension staff will provide pre-assembled displays to your school on a regular basis, free of charge. Each display addresses a current nutrition, health or wellness issue.
What does my school do with the displays?
Show Me Nutrition Education Displays include an informational bulletin board, handouts and resource information for staff. Displays are typically placed in a teachers’ lounge for easy access for viewing. Handouts are either put in staff mailboxes or next to the display.
How will teachers and staff use the displays?
After viewing the displays, teachers and staff may share nutrition and health information they learned with their students using the resource information in the classroom or by modeling healthy behaviors for the class.
