All registrations are to be sent to the NJYB’s PO Box they will be distributed to league Commissioner’s

Registrations and fees are due by the following dates; if a team signs up late they will be added to a waiting list

(Teams will not be allowed to play if dues are not paid)

May 15th 2008 for all leagues, Koufax 14, Koufax 13, Hodges 11u, Mays 10,

Robinson 9u, Clemente 8u and Clemente 7u

April 10th 2008 for Reese 12u

Rosters are to be turned in to all league Commissioner’s by May 27th for all leagues

“Except” Reese 12u they are to be turned in by April 24th 2008

Coaches Forms are to be turned in to all league Commissioner’s by May 27th for all

leagues “except” Reese 12u they are to be turned in by April 24th 2008

Umpires The Home team is responsible for getting the umpires

Koufax 14u, Koufax 13u, Reese 12u & Reese (Hodges) 11u

All games must have 2 credit carded umpires. The home will schedule umpires it sup to the Visiting team to call to verify how much to bring to the game. Each team is responsible for paying 1 umpire each.

If there is a forfeit then the team forfeiting the game is responsible for paying both umpires. If a team forfeits it’s that teams obligation to pay umpires. The forfeit team will not be awarded any points to games which follow until the umpire fees are due.

Mays 10u, Robinson 9u, & Clemente 8u

1 credit carded umpire is required for all games

Teams wishing to advance to a Regional or Worlds Series

Any team that advances outside of an New Jersey State Tournament and has won a bid to go to either a AABC Regional or World Series must ensure their teams goes to that tournament and any that follow other wise their team will be fined $500 for not advancing to the next tournament.

(This Rule is being enforced by the AABC Regional Office).

Teams must follow the appropriate chain of command.

Tournament Tie Break Rule for all ages

If there is a problem because of weather the Tournament Director has the sole discretion to decide who is declared the Tournament Champion. Appeals must go to NJYB Board only if rules are not followed by the White Book.

1. First the TD will eliminate all teams with a loss if there is/are undefeated teams. (If only one team is undefeated they will be declared the winners)

2. Next the White Book “Pool Play” Rule 212 will apply iif the teams left have played each other.

3. if teams have not played each other or some of the teams have not played each other the follow will apply.

4. Draw.

Please note with regard to 1,2, and 3 the number of games is not a factor to consider as the schedule (the number of games) is by luck of the draw

Teams will follow their New Jersey Rules for all season play and The White Book for all Tournament play.
