THE CONFESSION OF SIN
Call to Confession
Prayer of Confession: Great God our Father, You have given us Your Son, Your beloved, with Whom You are well pleased, yet
we respond to Your gift without gratitude or grace. We are frightened disciples, slow to speak Your gospel or to live out good
news in the world. Baptize us with Your Holy Spirit, so that, forgiven and renewed, we may shine with Your light and show Your love and rejoice in Your gift of forgiveness and life through Christ our Lord. Amen. (Silent Confession)
Assurance of Pardon
*Response of Praise: 579 “Gloria Patri”

MPC will be serving lunch as a mission outreach at Sojourner Café in Williamsport on Saturday, February 7th. The café provides meals for the poor and homeless. Weekday meals are partially funded by the Lycoming United Way, but the Saturday lunches are funded and provided solely by local churches. To make this outreach a success we will need volunteers to make macaroni and cheese and cupcakes. Sign-up sheets will be available next week, but if you have any questions or would like to volunteer in advance please call or see Kelly Crist or any member of the Mission Committee.
Christmas Eve we collected $1,338 which was divided equaly between the Lycoming County food bank and Shepherd of the streets. Thank you!
Note to all committee chairpersons: Year-end reports are due by January 31st. Please Email your reports to . If you are unable to email them, you may bring them to the office.
Thanks to George Conrad for making and donating the beautiful wreaths on the front door!
