Important Definitions:

ATM Surcharge: Fee assessed by “owner” of the ATM you chose. (Amount stated by the ATM will be instantly deducted from your total account balance & is in addition to the transaction fee.)

Transaction Fee: Fee assessed by Money Network (your bank) for use of your STAR/VISA Debit Paycard, for a specified transaction. Is instantly deducted from your total account balance (see Fee Listing provided in Welcome Kit. Note that many transactions are FREE of charge!)

POS: Point of Sale. Also used in reference to the physical machine that allows a merchant to swipe a credit card to initiate a transaction, most common in retail environments.

·  Debit Transaction: Option when using POS to pay for items at store or restaurant; also allows you to receive cash back (carries a 50 cent transaction fee).

·  Credit Transaction: Option when using POS to pay for items at store or restaurant; does not allow you to receive cash back. Total purchase price is deducted from your account instantly (is FREE of any transaction fees & surcharges) .

PIN: Personal Identification Number. “Secret” number of your choice that you set when you activate your Money Network Paycard. Use this number when making POS purchases or withdrawing funds from an ATM. PIN is also used t view information on the Money Network Website (www.moneynetwork.com).

Accessing Funds

How to access your funds using a Money Network Check:

Follow the instructions in the Money Network “How to Guide” enclosed in Welcome Kit. You can issue a check to yourself or third party to receive payment

How to Make a FREE Over-the-Counter Cash Withdrawal:

·  Take your VISA card and balance to any VISA-issuing bank (most major banks)

·  Present the card to teller along with ID and amount you wish to withdraw


How to Make an ATM Withdrawal:

·  Select an ATM.

·  Swipe or insert your card.

·  Key in your PIN.

·  If the ATM gives the option to “CHECK BALANCE,” select “NO.” Check balance using the number on the back of the card, 888.913.0900. Balance inquiries are considered an ATM transaction.

·  ALWAYS select “WITHDRAWAL FROM CHECKING” option.

·  If surcharge is applied by ATM, choose yes to accept this fee to be deducted from your total balance.

·  Enter or select dollar amount to be withdrawn.

·  Take your cash & receipt & don’t forget your card!

How To Pay Using POS

·  Swipe card.

·  Select Debit or Credit.

–  DEBIT SELECTION

·  Enter PIN.

·  Select “CASH BACK” if desired, then select dollar amount.

·  Verify purchase amount + any cash back.

·  Select approval option of: “approve,” “enter,” “ok,” “yes.”

·  Take copy of receipt.

–  CREDIT SELECTION

·  Clerk will give you copy of receipt to sign.

·  Verify total of purchase, then sign. Total will be immediately deducted from your account.

·  Take copy of receipt.

Other Common Payment Methods:

·  When POS machine is not available, hand card to cashier or waiter in restaurant: Verify total, then sign receipt & take your copy of receipt.

·  When shopping or paying bills online, ensure Website is secure, enter card number, home address for “billing address” & follow all site instructions.


Lost or Stolen Card Replacement

·  Call Money Network Customer Service immediately, toll-free at 1-888-913-0900, option 3, to report lost/stolen card!

·  Do not contact your recruiter or staffing representative to request a new card.

–  ONLY Money Network can supply you with a replacement card that links you to your account.

·  Funds can be accessed using a Money Network Check while waiting for your replacement card to arrive.

·  Replacement cards will be mailed to your home address!

Pay Advice

Once you receive your first payment on your new paycard, your pay advices or “paystubs” will now be automated. Advices will be available online or via toll-free number. You can view, save electronically or print & save. You can also have them faxed to you via toll-free automated service.
