Mid Season Newsletter – 2009

Dear friends,

I hope this mid season newsletter finds everyone well. CMS season is now well on its way and we are now entering the second half of the year. The company trophy shed is full of some fantastic trophies including 2 great leopards. One being the ‘gota gota’ monster that despite having built up a reputation of been un-shootable, found its demise at the hands of David Kolhorst and Rich Tabor.

JB and Luc de Runz shot two monster crocs and hippo bulls in Mozambique with the biggest croc being over 15 feet!

The buff and plains game hunting has been hard country wide as the bush has been and still is extremely thick due to the un-seasonally late rains we had. However Makuti has burnt well this season and the new green flush has come through and with it has come a lot of great dugga boys and various plains game from the valley which bodes well for the rest of the season.
