Dear Prospective Applicant:
The Frankfort Branch of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is accepting applications for College Assistance Awards. The NAACP Scholarships (College Assistance Awards) were created to assist students to meet the cost of a college education. The award amount will be no less than $500.00.
Students are encouraged to apply for this award if he/she meets the following criteria:
1. The applicant is a resident of Frankfort or Franklin County and a graduate of a local public high school.
2. The applicant must be a spring 2016 graduating high school senior.
3. The applicant must:
1. Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative G.P.A.
2. Provide an official copy of the high school transcript.
3. Provide a copy of the most recent ACT/SAT score.
4. Provide at least two letters of recommendation.
Note: To be considered for the scholarship the applicant must provide official documentation (transcripts, ACT/SAT score, letters of recommendation, etc.) from their high school.
