Key outcomes of CJA Board meeting
1) Build an understanding of public protection arrangements across Lothian and Borders.
2) Secure approval for CJA Annual report for 2013/14.
3) Provide board with briefing on key performance areas, including latest reconviction rate.
4) Highlight key risk to CJA performance and explore proposal for supporting partnerships.
5) Provide board with quarterly report and update on budgetary cycle.
6) Build understanding of the current challenges emerging from national policy including next stage in the future shape of community justice.

19th February 2015 – young people in the justice system (contributions from Ellie Roy (Former Chief Executive of Youth Justice Board for England and Wales), Becki Lancaster (evaluation lead for Protocol) and Margaret Brewer (Chiar of Lothian and Borders Group for the Young People Leaving Polmont Protocol).
21st May 2015 – launch of the families affected by the justice system framework with Nancy Loucks, Chief Executive of Families Outside and Chair of CJA Families Outcomes Group. Other speakers tbc.
20th August 2015 – prolific offenders. Speakers tbc.
