The following is a proposal for Lawn Service and Landscape Maintenance prepared especially for [CompanyName] and provided by Vista Landscape Management for the year of [YEAR]. Please feel free to contact our office during normal business hours with any questions or concerns.

ANY ADJACENT CONCRETE OR ASPHALT AREAS, INCLUDING SIDEWALKS, CITY MAINTAINED STREETS AND GUTTERS, AND/OR PATIO AREAS WILL BE CLEARED OF ANY DEBRIS CREATED AS A RESULT OF OUR CONTRACTED SERVICES.

AREAS of SERVICE

1. Turf Cut / Trim: Cost $____________________

Any area(s) covered by turf will be serviced on a seven-day average during our maintenance season, which begins on April 1st and concludes on November 31st (28 sessions). Your knowledgeable Lawn Care Specialists will cut/trim turf height as determined by species and current growing conditions at the time of service. Cut/trim height will be adjusted to suit your needs upon request.

Frequency of service is susceptible to change during extended wet or dry periods. Trimming will be performed and included in the cost of this service. All buildings, structures, and other obstacles within the turf area will be maintained as part of your Cut/Trim service. Any debris will be removed from the turf prior to servicing. Clippings and excess will be raked and/or bagged as necessary to maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance.

2. Weed Control: Cost $_____________________

Flowerbeds, ornamental mulch beds and tree rings will be serviced for weeds on a weekly basis. This will either be done manually or with the use of herbicides that are not harmful to plants or foliage located within shrub or mulch beds. Weed control is performed in conjunction with your Cut/Trim services (28 sessions per season).

3. Edging: Cost $______________________

All Curbing, sidewalks and drive way areas, will be edged seven (7) times per season to maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance. Your Lawn Care Specialists will take care to avoid any sidewalk damage while edging.

4. Sidewalk Weeds: Cost $_______________________

All seems and cracks in sidewalks and curbing will be serviced for weeds, either manually or via chemical control as necessary.

5. Pruning: Cost $_______________________

All ornamental shrubs, bushes, tress and foliage evergreens will be pruned and/or sheared three(3) times during your service period to maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance.

All ornamental shade trees will be pruned once (1) during your service period. Tree suckers, shoot growth, and tree limbs will be trimmed as necessary to keep from impeding walkways and parking areas.

MULCHING

1. Initial Mulch: Cost $________________________

Top quality double shredded hardwood mulch will be used on all previous mulched tree rings and shrubbery beds. (Mulching is priced separately on a per cubic yard basis.) A well-defined edging of all beds and tree rings, and complete weed removal from all beds shall take place prior to service. Mulch layer shall not exceed 3-4 inches in depth.

2. Top Dress Mulch: Cost $________________________

All areas that were mulched in the past will receive a new layer of mulch. Depth of top dress mulch shall not surpass two (2) inches.

3. Ornamental Mulch Bed Edging: Cost $________________________

All mulch beds, shrub beds, flower beds, and tree rings shall have a clean and well-defined edge of at least four (4) inches in depth. Excess debris from the edge definition will be cleaned and groomed. Bed edges will be maintained to their correct form in that they are straight or curved without uneven edges. This service will occur three (3) times per season.

Customary examinations of insect infestation for ornamental trees and shrubs will occur throughout the season and treated as needed.

LEAF REMOVAL AND PROPERTY CLEAN-UP

1. Leaf Removal: Cost $_________________________

In order to maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance, all leaves will be removed from the turf areas twice (2) per service period and once (1) from all ornamental and mulch bed areas.

2. Spring Clean-Up: Cost $_________________________

As part of the spring clean-up, all leaves and miscellaneous debris will be collected and disposed from the entire property.

SEASONAL COLOR

THE SPECIES AND COLOR OF FLORA WILL BE REVIEWED WITH MANAGEMENT BEFORE SERVICE BEGINS.

1. Spring Flowers: Cost $________________________

Weather permitting, existing flowerbeds will be prepared and spring flowers will be planted in early April. Flowers will be installed on 6-inch centers.

2. Annual Flowers: Cost $________________________

All existing flowerbeds will be prepared and annual flowers will be installed in May. Flowers to be installed on 6-inch centers.

3. Fall Flowers: Cost $________________________

Flowerbeds will be prepped for the installation of fall flowers as directed by management. Flowers will be installed on 18-inch centers.

4. Bed Preparation: Cost $________________________

All existing flower beds will be prepped by eliminating two (2) inches of soil and installing two (2) inches of peat moss over the soil and working it into a depth of six (6) inches (using shovel, spade, or rototiller).

5. New Flower Beds: Cost $________________________

If the amount of plants or formation of new flowerbeds is required, it shall be done on time and materials with an approved purchase order from management.

6. Flowerbed Care: Cost $_________________________

All flowerbeds will be maintained by weeding and removing damaged/dead blossoms. Also, all annual flowers shall be fertilized weekly.

7. Late Fall: Cost $__________________________

To ensure a healthy root system throughout the winter and ensure an early spring green-up, a quick-release nitrogen fertilizer will be applied. If needed, a broadleaf herbicide may be included into this fertilization.
