Latin America Map Assignment

You are responsible for completing this assignment and turning it in on time. If you choose not to hand in this assignment be aware that it is worth TWO (2) homework Grades. No excuses. Instructions:
1) All labeling needs to be done in a dark black ink pen. Gel pens and felt tip markers work well.
2) Be sure to print your information. If you have handwriting that is difficult to read, think about printing off the locations and gluing them on your map.
3) Your map should include a legend. Your cities need to be represented by a symbol identifying it as such. Be sure that the name of the city is on the right of the map symbol. Any city on the west coast of North America can go on the left of the symbol. If you use color or any other symbols to identify landforms they need to be on the legend also.
4) Include a Compass Rose.
5) All maps must have a title. DO NOT FORGET. I will take off 10 points.
6) All maps need a student name, date and period on them. I will take off 10 points.
7) Use color on the map.
8) Label all Latin American countries and capitals.
Use the maps located in the Unit Atlas on pages 190-195 and throughout Unit 3 to locate the physical features listed below. Label them on the accompanying outline map.
