Regular Meeting – Tuesday, May 9, 2017 – 6:30 p.m.

Call the meeting to order: Establish a quorum; Moment of silence:
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. There was a quorum present with all board members present.
Pledge of Allegiance:
5th grade student Xiomara Rodriguez led the pledge of allegiance.

· Discussion and Possible Action on Level III Grievance
Level III grievance was discussed in open forum. The board went in to executive session to consult with school attorney.
Closed Session:
The Board adjourned for Closed Session at 7:28 p.m.
Section 551.074 – For the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee or to hear complaints or charges against a public officer or employee.A. Consultation with School Attorney on Legal Issues concerning the Level III Grievance
Open Session:
The Board returned to Open Session at 8:31 p.m.
A. Consultation with School Attorney on Legal Issues concerning the Level III Grievance
· The school board upheld the Level II decision and denied the Level III grievance but will re-visit and discuss the issues raised with the budget committee.
