Context / Sabinet is in the business of facilitating access to research and statutory information for our client base comprised of corporate, higher education and government institutions in South Africa, the rest of Africa and further abroad.
Job purpose / The successful candidate will form part of Client Services Department taff and will be reporting to the Sales Manager. The Key Account Manager is the contact between the client and Sabinet. He/she will be responsible for understanding the client’s needs and provide a solution. The key account manager is responsible for achieving sales through the process of growing and developing exisiting clients and bringing in new leads.

Key responsibilities / ·  Give up to date information relating to customer activities.
·  Establish relationship with clients and provide high standard of customer service continually.
·  Focus on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.
·  You will be the key interface between the customer and all relevant departments.
·  Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
·  Build and maintain strong long-lasting customer relationships.
·  Approaching clients and offer advice on products to ensure they derive the best value for money from their subscribed services.
·  Give ad-hoc on site training to clients.
·  Deal with queries and complaints from customers;
·  Update customer information on the CRM system;
·  Give product presentations to clients, when necessary.
Job requirements: / ·  Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer need.
·  Have a strong client orientation and business focus.
·  Have excellent verbal skills and must be comfortable with public speaking.
·  Have the ability to communicate and negotiate at a senior level.
·  Be fluent in English
·  Have prior sales experience.
·  Have the ability to work within a team.
·  Be a quick learner.
·  Have a valid drivers licence and must be willing to travel nationally and internationally.
