Job Description / Responsibilities / Requirements

Location: DFW area, TX

Responsibilities:

Ø  EAR & ITAR authorization drafting, submittal, and management, including the practical application of the new requirements under Export Control Reform

Ø  Extensive knowledge of all areas of EAR and ITAR compliance including data and physical access considerations, recordkeeping, training, and policy/process development and implementation.

Ø  Someone who is sufficiently experienced to guide customers through the requirements without spending a lot of time researching the regulations or asking for a lot of help from the rest of the team/management.

Ø  Extensive experience preparing, submitting, and managing Department of State and Department of Commerce export and import authorizations

Ø  Someone who truly owns their job

Ø  Experience to be more familiar with the specific classification and licensing issues

Skills/requirements:

Ø  BS/BA degree required
Ø  Degree in a related area (business, law, engineering, economics, international relations, global studies, political science and supply chain management)
Ø  Experienced in researching, interpreting, and applying the EAR and ITAR
Ø  Extensive experience with ITAR and EAR as well as new export controls
Ø  Extensive HTS and ECCN classification experience
Ø  Experienced and comfortable providing training
Ø  Customs knowledge a plus
