The Introduction:

The producers of the television show The Crocodile Hunter have announced they will be producing a new show called “Biome Hunter.”

They are having a contest to find a new host.

The Process:

Chose from one of the 6 biomes above and begin your research. You need to find the following information about your chosen biome:

Places around the world where you biome can be found

The landforms and places of interest in your biome. Is it a desert? Are there mountains? Volcanoes? Rivers? Forests? Famous places? Etc.

The temperature and precipitation of your biome through the year.

Information about 5 different animals that live in your biome that would be good to do a show about.

Information about 3 types of plants or trees in your biome that would be interesting to talk about on the new show.

The Task:

Using the information you found about your biome create a slide slow which includes the following slides:

*Title Slide (includes biome name, designer’s name)

*Geographical Location slide (tells/shows where the biome is located)

*Climate/Weather slide (temperature and precipitation)

*Fauna slide(s) (5 types of animals in the biome of interest, include a separate slide of information about each animal)

*Flora slide(s) (3 types of Plants from the biome, include a separate slide with information about each plant)

*Major Landforms slide (at least one slide describing what the land is like in your biome)

*Location Scout (s) (Scout 2 locations in your biome that would be interesting locations to film from, include a separate slide on each location.)
