Peg Kit

Description
Each Peg Kit contains:
v  One 8-1/2"x2-7/8" work and storage Box
v  Six inset Frames
v  Three 1-7/8"-diameter Pegs
v  Six 1"-diameter Pegs
The pegs in this kit vary according to size, color, and tactile features. There are two sizes of pegs.
The colors used are red, yellow, and blue. Each peg has either one, two, or three grooves in it. The six black inset frames with holes of varying size and number can be placed into the top of the
box; the inset frames will provide structure for matching, sorting, and manipulating the pegs. The
kit was designed so that no two features can be matched simultaneously.
Suggested Uses
The Peg Kit is recommended for use by the preschool-early primary school level child, or the older child with multiple handicaps. Tasks using the kit include the following:
1.  Manipulation
a. putting pegs in frames
b. stacking pegs
c. using frames as guides for drawing circles
