Mahwah, NJ (April May XX4, 2005) – Konica Minolta Photo Imaging U.S.A., Inc. announces newly designed packaging for Konica Minolta’s entire line of inkjet papers. Available in July 2005, the newly designed packaging enables consumers to readily identify the Konica Minolta family of inkjet papers and easily compare and select the type of paper best suited for them and their home printing needs.

“Konica Minolta inkjet papers allow consumers to create great prints from their digital cameras that are true to color, prints that they are proud to share with family and friends,” said Todd Schrader, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Konica Minolta Photo Imaging U.S.A., Inc. “As an added benefit to our consumers, Konica Minolta inkjet papers work well on all brands of inkjet printers.”

Konica Minolta’s expertise in photographic film and paper coating technology enables the company to offer inkjet papers that feature superb multi-layer, micro porous technology compatible with all dye and pigment type inks. Konica Minolta inkjet papers are also smudge proof and water resistant. Paper types include “Professional Photo Paper”, “Professional Photo DoubleTwo-Sided Photo Paper”, “Premium Photo Paper” (available in Glossy and Satin), “Premium Self-Adhesive Photo Paper”, and “Everyday Photo MattePaper”. The new Konica Minolta packaging features a clean white background with striking colors including collages of photographic images that are easily identifiable and easy to read as an aid to consumers when choosing the proper inkjet paper for their photographic needs.

The new product packaging includes the following design details:

1.  Simple and easy to understand redesigned product packaging helps users easily identify the surface type

2.  Ideal uses for each paper type are listed right on the front of the packaging.

3.  The entire Konica Minolta line of inkjet papers is featured in a chart on the back of each package.
