COMES NOW defendant and states:

1.  I realize that I have a right to a speedy trial under the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Iowa.

2.  I have previously waived my right to speedy trial within ninety (90) days, or I hereby waive my right to speedy trial.

3.  I realize that, pursuant to Iowa Rule of Criminal Procedure 2.33 (2)(c), I have a right to be brought to trial within one year after my initial arraignment unless an extension is granted by the Court upon a showing of good cause by the State of Iowa.

4.  I have been fully advised by my attorney of my statutory and constitutional rights to speedy trial and of the ramifications of waiving those rights.

5.  I waive my right to have this case tried within one year and I agree that it may be postponed until a date scheduled by the Court.
