TWYFELFONTEIN
Visit Twyfelfontein with its rock engravings, the Burned mountain, Petrified Forest and Organ pipes. We leave early each morning just after breakfast and visit all these sights. Arrival back at iGowati in the late afternoon in time for a nap before dinner. This trip includes lunch packs, water and soft drinks per person, the guide/driver, vehicle, and entrance fees at sights.

THE ROCK FINGER (Vingerklip)
See some of the most spectacular scenery in Namibia and the Rock finger – a sole remnant of an ancient plato. Have lunch at the Vingerklip lodge and enjoy your drive back at a leisurely pace. For this trip we leave at midmorning and return after lunch. Lunch, soft drinks and water per person, (drinks for lunch not included) driver/guide, vehicle and entrance fees included.

SCELETON COAST PARK TRIP
A trip through the desolated area of the skeleton coast park. Visit some of the old shipwrecks and have a picnic lunch on the way. Lunch packs, soft drinks, entrance fees, guide/driver and vehicle included.

THE WHITE LADY TRIP
Visit the white lady rock engraving at Brandberg near Uis. The brandberg is the highest mountain in Namibia. Have lunch at a restaurant in Uis. We leave in the morning after breakfast and return in the afternoon. Entrance fees, guide/driver, vehicle, lunch and soft drinks included.

DONKEY CART TRIPS
This has to be pre-booked to ensure that we are able to arrange it. A trip through the town of Khorixas the way the Damara people travel. We visit the town and have a drink at a local sjebien(bar) taste some of the local specialties like Mopanie worm and interact with the Damara people, visit a church for a traditional performance and see some Bushman paintings in the vicinity, before returning to iGowati. This trip includes one drink per person and a taste of local food per person. The income of these trips if for the local people.

ELEPHANT TRIP
We leave early morning from iGowati to go and search for the desert elephant that is indigenous to Damaraland. This trip means a lot of driving and takes the whole day as we drive up the Huab river and the Ugab. We arrive back at iGowati late afternoon. Vehicle, guide/driver, lunch packs, soft drinks and water included.

SUNDOWNER TRIP
We offer a sundowner trip to a hill close to Khorixas where you can see the sun going down and be treated to a real Namibian braai and a traditional performance of the Abas Khoab group. Meals included. Drinks for guests and tips for the group for the guests own account.
