Future Plans

I’m planning to continue exploring the field of education, critical thinking, and critical care. I’m developing my research skills through working with national and international researchers in both qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative data analysis is a challenging area and provides the nursing profession, especially in Jordan, with crucial elements to progress. Within the qualitative domain, ethnography and hermeneutic approaches are especially important to nursing research in our region to develop culture-based understanding of the nursing phenomenon in the Arab countries.

Teamwork is inspirational to me. I wish to keep working in a team that supports and assists me to be an effective member and benefit the profession and community. Quality patient care is another important aspect in my career. It is in fact one of the main reasons for choosing Critical Thinking as the theme for my PhD thesis and Critical Care Nursing Education as my area of interest.

I’m currently working at expanding collaboration to include multinational research studies, especially on wellness (health) promotion in different populations. Working on international and overseas collaborative projects expands horizon, enriches expertise and more. I still have more potential patents to work on; I’m planning to proceed into this area.
