Hidden Heroes Program

What is Hidden Heroes?

In short a program to help teach our community how we can help

the military families in our community.

The intent of Hidden Heroes training is to increase ordinary citizens' understanding of the unique issues facing military youth and assist them in creatingState and LocalOMK support networks. School personnel, youth-serving agency staff and civic groups may find Hidden Heroes training especially beneficial. As part of the training, you will receive resource materials training toolkit designed to educate youth workers, educators, counselors and other community service agencies on military culture, the deployment cycle, fostering resilience in kids, influence of the media, and building community capacity.

If you are interested Caswell 4-H will be hosting a Hidden Heroes workshop on Wednesday, March 3rd 10am – 4pm at the Agricultural Building in Yanceyville, NC. There is a fee of $10 for Caswell Residents,

out of county residents $15 and lunch will be provided. Contact the

4-H office at 694-4158 by February 24th to register.
