Heaven’s Rehearsal Hall

[Psalms 75:1 AMP] WE GIVE praise and thanks to You, O God, we praise and give thanks; Your wondrous works declare that Your Name is near and they who invoke Your Name rehearse Your wonders.

Praising God is always in order.

Lifting up Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, is the order of every service.

If we don’t get anything else done when we gather here … we must not fail to lift Him up!

Praise Him…

No matter how you feel.

No matter what you are going through.

No matter what tomorrow holds.

No matter what you left at home.

[Acts 16:25-26] But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them; [26] and suddenly there came a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison house were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's chains were unfastened.

You can praise your way through any problem or circumstance.

Worship breaks the chains of harshness … pain … suffering … doubt … fear … and want in our life.

The Psalmist David, the greatest worshipper of all time, taught us how to worship …

Three involve use of the HANDS:

· Play skillfully

· Lift up holy hands

· Clap your hands

Three involve use of our MOUTH:

· Sing unto the Lord

· Cry out and shout

· Tell of His goodness

Three involve use of the whole BODY:

· Stand in His presence.

· Kneel before the Lord.

· Dance before the Lord.

Everything we do in this place should be about magnifying HIM!

We’re not here to magnify …

Our talents and abilities.

Show off our clothes.

Make sure everyone see or hears us.

T. F. Tenney, Jesus has a problem. He thinks church should be all about Him!

Pastor’s Update … “Choir Practice @ 5:00 PM”

Our choir is to be commended …

They arrive here early 52 Sundays of the year.

They gather on other evenings of the week to rehearse.

They understand that the time they spend in rehearsal is preparing them for the main event …

They work hard so they will be able to minister effectively in the Sunday services.

We receive many compliments on our choir.

Every time we gather in this Worship Center … we come with a purpose!

We sing during the worship service …

We clap … dance … run … shout …

We preach about Jesus …

We study His Word so our lives conform to His will …

We strive to please Him …

We are rehearsing for the main event.

The first time you see the church in heaven … Rev. 4 …

The four-and-twenty elders fall at the feet of Him who sets on the throne …

They cast their crowns at His feet …

And they worship Him saying …

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

We used to sing a chorus … “I’m just warming up for that meeting in the sky.”

If you think I shout down here, you ain’t seen nothing yet!

I’m just warming up.

Church is Heaven’s Rehearsal Hall.

I don’t understand people who can come into an Apostolic service and sit there as if nothing is going on.
