CONTEXT
Established since 2003, Greenborough is a small, vibrant business that specialises in project management and business growth support.
Based in Derby and Lincoln, we currently deliver a number of publicly funded contracts across the whole of Greater Lincolnshire providing innovation, funding and grant access support to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
The business provides:
-  Project management services to Universities, Local Authorities and Local Economic Partnerships (LEPs)
-  Business support, advice and guidance to help small and medium sized businesses to develop and grow
-  Support to those looking at applying for grant funding (both businesses and public sector organisations)
-  Support to businesses seeking external funding (debt, grant or equity) to facilitate their growth
Although programmes and projects change from time to time, the current portfolio includes
-  Innovation Programme for Greater Lincolnshire (ERDF funded)
-  Funding Readiness Service as part of Business Growth Hub (ERDF funded)
-  Brokerage for Grants 4 Growth programme across Greater Lincolnshire
-  Project management for Growing Graduate Enterprise (with University of Lincoln)
The business has a small office in Derby (with 2 full time staff permanently based there) and a small office in the Enterprise Building at the University of Lincoln (with 2 full time staff, of which this will be 1). 3 other staff, including the Director, split their time across the offices.
JOB PURPOSE
The main purpose of the role is to provide full support to the marketing, promotion and event management processes for both the projects that we manage for others, and also for Greenborough itself. This will involve: leading the marketing, promotion and client networking and communications; initiating and following up client contacts; liaison with programme providers and participants; coordinating and overseeing small events (workshops, seminars etc.); representing the Company and its programmes to businesses at external events, exhibitions and networking opportunities.
You will occasionally be expected to operate outside of normal working hours in the fulfilment of your duties. You will also need to be a car driver with access to a vehicle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing
·  Contributing to, and sometimes leading, the development and implementation of a promotional plan for Greenborough and its programmes and projects
·  Arranging and regularly updating internal and external communications media, including print, web content and social media
·  Initiating and following up client contact and enquiries
·  Representing Greenborough, and its programmes and projects as appropriate, at external events, exhibitions and networking opportunities
·  Generating enquiries and demand for our funded programmes and projects by whatever means appropriate
·  To create post-event and post-engagement feedback surveys, collating and analysing results in order to maintain the quality of client experience and identify benefits for future planning
·  To develop a strategy and then implement a management plan for Greenborough’s own (underutilised) website and social media platforms
·  To support, or lead, the design of print and promotional materials as required from time to time
Support the wider team with support for a range of one off projects.
Events
·  Planning, organising and leading the events (seminars, workshops and promotional events) as required in the fulfilment of our funded contracts (approximately 1 seminar every 2 months plus 1 annual show-casing event)
·  Arranging room bookings, catering, speakers as required
·  Ensuring that all delegates have suitable information about events including marketing materials, handouts, post-event feedback forms
·  Ensuring and monitoring consistent standards of venue presentation, safety, comfort, cleanliness and maintenance to appropriately reflect upon the Company
Support the wider team with support for a range of one off projects.
Customer Relationship Management
·  To build effective working relationships with funders, delivery partners and project team members
·  To maintain accurate records of client liaisons and ensure appropriate referral mechanisms are in place with other team members
·  To provide progress reports that are suitable for internal and external audiences and that can support decision making
