RUBY’S PANTRY - Ruby Pantry is the first Thursday of every month from 4:30 – 6. Doors open at 4 at the National Guard Armory in Marshall. Bring with 2 boxes, laundry baskets or anything to carry food with and $20 and they will fill you up. Visit rubyspantry.org to find out more info.

VOLUNTEERS WILL BE NEEDED - We are looking for help both for volunteers and donations (material and financial) to move the new office project ahead. Work days will be announced in the bulletin for anyone willing to help. Many hands will make the work go faster. Donations can be put in the collection basket or mailed to the Rectory. This would be a good tax deduction for the end of the year.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST - MISSION TRIP 2017 will be holding a Pancake & Sausage breakfast on Sunday, June 25th from 8:30-10:30am at St. Edward’s Dining Hall. Adults $5, 12 & under $3. The group departs on their trip on July 16th. We want to thank everyone for the wonderful support we have received, and ask for your prayers during our trip.

SUMMER HOURS - From Memorial Day weekend (May 27-28) until Labor Day weekend (September 2-3) we will be going down to a four Mass schedule instead of our current 6 Masses.

The summer schedule will be:

GREIF SHARE SEMINAR - Community members who have experienced the death of a family member or friend are invited to participate in a GriefShare program held at Holy Redeemer Church. This nondenominational program features Christ-centered, biblical teaching that focuses on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one. The DVD seminar features nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories of people, followed by a small group discussion about what was seen on the DVD. GriefShare, a 13-session program, will take place from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Wednesdays, beginning May 17, in Holy Redeemer Church gathering area, 503 W. Lyon, Marshall. FAITH FORMATION AND YOUTH MINISTRY NEWS:

· STEUBENVILLE CONFERENCE – This event is set to take place July 14-16 in Rochester MN. Students in grades 9-12 are invited to attend. This event will consist of Mass with Bishop Quinn of the Winona Diocese, Adoration, and Reconciliation with presenters of all kinds. Some of the Speakers who are full of God’s love and energy are Fr. Mike Schmitz who is well known on YouTube, and Katie Prjean McGrady a teacher, youth minister, author, and Speaker is known for her “theological comedy”. This event would not be complete without a little music for those attending so SONAR will be performing. A total of 6 presenters with one extra guest speaker will be there to enlighten us on where God is in our lives.

· DISCIPLESHIP CAMP – Youth Camp sponsored by the Diocese of New Ulm full of games, Mass, Adoration, friendship, more games and JOY. They will be held at Schoenstatt, Sleepy Eye. There are three separate camps: Girls (July 22-27), Middle School Boys Grades 6-8 (July 27-30), & High School Boys Grades 9-12 (July 31-Aug.4). MANOR – There will be no Sunday Rosary at the Manor until further notice. Communion will be distributed in the individual rooms.

HELP NEEDED - St. Peter’s Catholic School in Canby, MN is accepting applications for a long-term substitute. The substitute teacher would be a Co-Preschool and Kindergarten teacher along with 1st Grade Reading and K-4 Social Studies teacher. Requires a MN licensure in elementary education. Catholic religion is preferred but not required. This position will begin on September 5, 2017, and last until November 17, 2017. THRIFT STORE – “One More Time” store needs many volunteers, both men and women, to sort through donations and ready items for display and sale. Please call Brenda Verschelde at 872-5193 giving your name and phone number as a willing volunteer. This is our parish store and we need help. We are now excepting donations on Mon – Saturday’s starting at 9 am. Please bring donations to the door with the sign on it. Thank you for your interest and support.

PIES –

· Thank you to the families who donated rhubarb for pie baking and to the ladies who helped wash, cut and freeze the rhubarb for future use.

· Thank you to Dorothy Vlaminck for her generous donation of a freezer for the “Crusty Pie Ladies” to use. Also, thank you to Ed and Bonnie Laleman who delivered the freezer to the Church basement. We do appreciate your generosity and interest in our pie efforts. We have already put the freezer to good use for the Rhubarb.
