Thank you for the information concerning your new courses, GEOG/PLAN 4270 and GEOG/PLAN 6270. The Geological Sciences faculty members have discussed these courses and, given the emphasis of the courses on management/planning, do not believe that they conflict to any great degree with the hydrology and water resources courses that we teach.

Dear Steve,

Attached are proposals for a Water Resources Management and Planning course that I am proposing to be both an undergraduate and graduate course in both Geography and Planning. Just an FYI as discussion moves forward on a water resources center. And, when I taught a similar course at Binghamton, it wasn’t unusual to have geology students in it.
