Founding Partner


Paul Litten brings over 20 years experience in training, equipping and mobilizing leadership in a variety of venues and contexts. He is a founding partner of Leadership Forward, a leadership consulting and development firm committed to helping clients generate sustainable breakthrough performance through effective and profound leadership. A growing list of clientele call on Leadership Forward to guide executives, executive teams and organizations through transformational processes that improve organizational effectiveness and results. Clients include the US. Air Force, Broadwing Communications, Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Aetna, VHA and MediCorp Health Systems. Recently, he has also co-founded Healthcare Performance Solutions, an organization dedicated to transforming the “health of healthcare” across America through transformational leadership.

Paul’s expertise revolves around organizational performance improvement, leadership training, executive team development and workforce engagement. He is known for his innovative action-based training, executive coaching, strategic consulting and engaging speaking style developed over years of serving leaders at all levels of the organizational enterprise.

Previous to Leadership Forward, he launched and led Generation Forward, a consulting and training firm dedicated to helping companies recruit, retain, manage and motivate their emerging workforce. Paul provided thought leadership, management training and organizational development advising on issues related to Generation X and Y to companies including BellSouth, University of Miami, Cox Cable and the YMCA.

Before starting Generation Forward, Paul held increasing leadership roles with Intervarsity, a nationally known non-profit organization committed to equipping value-based leaders on university campuses. During this time he distinguished himself by directly mentoring over 50 leaders, guiding the development of over 650 more and training over 2500 others in leadership skills during his tenure.

His work also includes extensive experience and education in managing diversity and cross-cultural training including key roles in community-based leadership development programs.

Paul has worked in and consulted with both Fortune 500 companies and non-profits. His work has been highlighted in Entrepreneur Magazine and The Atlanta Business Chronicle. He is a graduate of Leadership Miami and the Common Ground Program (sponsored by the Kellog Foundation and University of Miami). He holds a Masters Degree in Adult Education (and Cross-cultural studies) from Wheaton Graduate School (graduating with distinction) and a B.A. from Southeastern University. He resides with his family in Atlanta, GA.
