Different colour t-shirts for role play (green, yellow and blue)
Paint your family (TA)
Draw Titch’s family in a story board (T)
Sort objects from the story into categories
Colour in template of Titch and draw flowerpot and plant, add a speech bubble (HA)
Capturing Ideas
Re-enact the story, then with different objects.
Create list of possible objects for Titch book (T)
Hot seating Titch’s feelings of being the smallest.
Make different size dishes from clay for Titch and siblings(TA)
Work with partner on whiteboards to create ideas.
Shared Writing
Demonstration, joint construction and supported composition
Model how to write sentences as per the story using children’s ideas.
Guided Writing
Practise writing sentence starters on whiteboards. (Key words on cards)
Label pictures from the story. (Drum, kite, whistle, trumpet)
Make a Titch book (T).
