TO LEAD WEDDINGS AND EVENTS
Fabulous Fall Wedding Season Ahead
August 28, 2014 (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.) – Vue on 30a, voted “Best Place to Watch a Sunset” by Destin Magazine and 2014 TripAdvisor Winner, recently announced that Cherryl Marcey has joined the management team to lead weddings and events for 30A’s acclaimed Gulf Front dining restaurant. In addition, Vue on 30a spotlights a fabulous fall wedding season for 2014.
Marcey is known in the hospitality and restaurant industry for her creative and thoughtful approach to hospitality and events.
“Cherryl brings a fresh approach to weddings on the Emerald Coast,” said Tim Cole, Vue on 30a manager. “Her extensive culinary background combined with years in the hospitality industry is the perfect combination for creating top level weddings.”
Marcey has served more than 15 years in the restaurant and hospitality industries focusing on exceptional service, passion for cuisine and creative establishments which cater to the customer.
Prior to joining Santa Rosa Golf & Beach club, Marcey held management and executive positions in the restaurant and event industry for Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, located in Destin, Florida; Hearty Restaurant located in Chicago, Illinois; Broadway Cellars located in Chicago, Illinois and more – all increasing their customer service levels, processes and training under Marcey’s management.
Marcey holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois and is certified in the state of Illinois and the state of Florida for Food Service Sanitation, B.A.S.S.E.T.
Since joining the Vue on 30a team, Marcey has already added several entire restaurant events and weddings for 2015 and beyond, surpassing prior years. Vue on 30a can accommodate parties from 20 to more than 200. In addition, Marcey reports a fabulous fall wedding season ahead.
