Gilbert, AZ Boy Starts a No Cussing Club

Gilbert, AZ – July 14, 2007 – Kids across the nation are challenging their peers, parents, teachers and government leaders to be examples and use only clean language. They are part of the national movement called the No Cussing Club.

Now Dallin Payne, 14, of Gilbert, AZ has started the fist No Cussing Club in Arizona. He and his friends have taken the “No Cussing Challenge” which pledges “I won’t cuss, swear, use bad language, or tell dirty jokes. Clean Language is the sign of intelligence and always demands respect. I will use my language to uplift, encourage and motivate. I will Leave People Better Than I Found Them!”

The No Cussing Club was founded in South Pasadena, CA by 14 year old McKay Hatch. Bothered by the constant bad language from his peers, McKay challenged his friends not to use bad language. Within 1 month he had 50 members from his school and community, including his Congress representative, Adam Shift.

Dallin said the reason he started the NCC Chapter is because he really liked the idea of using Positive Peer Pressure to influence his friends for good. He also plans to challenge his local congressman to take the “No Cussing Challenge”.
