Objective: To analyze the fulfillment of OT promises/prophecy/themes in Matthew’s gospel.

Deuteronomy, 18:18, reads as follows:

I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. (ESV)

Your assignment is to write a 2 page essay detailing how Matthew portrays Jesus as not only the fulfillment of this promise/prophecy but as one who is greater than Moses.
