FAMOUS SCIENTIST WANTED POSTER

For this class assignment you are being asked to create a wanted poster for a famous scientist. The requirements and grading rubric are provided below. You are asked to pick a famous scientist from the list provided below. Perform research on this scientist from several websites to ensure authenticity of the web information. These will be due on the first night of class.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Poster must be on 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper (regular copy paper). 10 Points

2. Mug shot of the scientist. 10 Points

3. First, Middle, and Last name of the scientist. 5 Points

4. Birth Date and Year of Death or note if they are still alive. 5 Points

5. What country were they born in and where did they do their work? 10 Points

6. What are they wanted (famous) for? Provide the information in 5 – 8 sentences, in your own words for full credit. 30 Points

7. Provide a fact you found interesting or a quote by that person. 10 Points

8. On the back of the wanted poster provide a list of all the resources you used to create this wanted poster (there must be a minimum of three sites). 15 Points

9. Your name on the bottom right hand corner. 5 Points
