Comments:
167 attendees rated this session (approximately 50% of registrants) and over 75% rated it high and about 60% made written comments. Most were very appreciative of the clinical practice guidelines, the case studies as examples and the demonstration of accessing them by smart phone. A few found this took away from the talk either being distracted by the activity or not being to access through the Conference Wifi or who did not have a phone to access. It seems many are ready to use these guidelines in their work right away.

6.  Great presentation and informative session. Relevant to health care professionals and the treatment of ABI in general.
7.  The presentation would have flowed more he didn’t use his phone. I would rather have just watched him navigate on the computer screen. Otherwise great presentation with some very useful information. Loved the case studies.
8.  Very imaginative and interactive
9.  Mark was great! As a PWLE said it was clear even for her. Fabulous teacher and also entertaining and engaging.

11.  Excellent presentation. Great to have this interactive with own phones to really understand the website!
12.  Excellent presentation! Looking forward to familiarizing myself more with the website.
13.  Well done. Explained research done and covered all areas. Excellent presentation.
14.  Interactive aspect was very new and interesting. Technologically savvy! Good speaker. I didn’t lose interest once so he was to the point and interesting.
15.  Great resource – thank you.
16.  The presentation was interesting but I found it difficult to go back and forth between looking up the website and following the presentation.
17.  Very difficult to follow using a phone. However, very good information.
18.  Will definitely use these guidelines in practice and appreciate going through how to use the website.
19.  On-line interaction was not available for all. Internet would shut down!
20.  Internet very slow.
21.  Great speaker! Very relevant to my work. Will bring info back to work and modify clinical practice!
22.  Enjoyed presentation. Liked practical application of using/navigating website. Speed of delivery a little too fast but appreciate short time frame.
23.  This was a very informative and interactive presentation. The presentation and content are very relevant to ABI organizations in the process of implementing ABI best practice guidelines.
24.  Excellent information, clearly presented.
25.  Thank you for taking the time to educate us in the guidelines of treating those with TBI.
26.  Thanks for sharing the amazing online resource/guidelines.
27.  Good use of technology (phone wifi) Very clearly explained. Excellent presentation!! I’m looking forward to exploring this tool – will inform my coworkers about this.

29.  We are already planning what we need to change/improve.
30.  Very clear – very easy even for me (survivor) to follow! Systematic teaching with very thorough opportunities to navigate through the system. I think the “online” support from the teams research and recommendations will be quite helpful; to those who use them with their ABI/TBI patients. Personal coverall opinion of Dr. B: This man is clearly well versed in his topic and an excellent teacher! Well done Dr. Bayley!
31.  A much needed tool – good to be informed of this resource!
32.  Informative.
33.  Very informative
34.  Very insightful – it validated what we have been doing in Community Rehab for years. i.e. address any possible medical causes; address fatigue and depression; teach in the moment. Valuable information regarding neuro-psych medication. Often in Northern Ontario we lack neuropsych experts. It would be a great idea to educate Family Docs and make this resource available to them. I will spread the word. Thank you. Sandra Doucetty, March of Dimes Canada, ABI Services Sudbury ON
35.  Practical – ability to use in practice. Evidence based info is essential for fee for service to provide rationale for certain services. Thank you.

40.  These guidelines are incredible! I’m so glad that a tool like this is available to us clinicians. It would be implemented in my practice immediately. Dr. Bailey id a great job demonstrating its applications!!!
41.  It was incredibly useful to have this speaker navigate the guidelines with us while applying a case study. It was a great orientation to how accessible these guidelines are, for future clinical practice. Dr. Bayley was very receptive to questions from the audience and answered them in a clear and comprehensive manner.
42.  Very practical – relevant to clinical practice.
43.  An interactive presentation would be helpful. E.g. questions that audience answer and submit from their phone.
44.  53% of people not aware of any guidelines - interactive component (use of cellphone) – can be useful but only if you have a phone – can be useful but promotes distraction and disengagement from the lecture. Not useful for me although topic presenter is relevant in ABI. Material was a bit dense.

83.  Muddled.
84.  Great resource going forward especially for in patient rehab.
