Members of the DoD AT&L Community,

The Secretary of Defense requested the attached September 7, 2005 SECDEF
memorandum, "Ethics and Integrity," be provided the widest distribution
possible. The Secretary of Defense, in his memo, stresses to all
members of the Department the importance of placing ethics at the
forefront of our vision and values.

In December 2004, the Under Secretary of Defense (AT&L) and the Service
Acquisition Executives jointly asked that every member of the DoD AT&L
(department-wide) workforce complete additional ethics training -- the
online (web-based) DAU Ethics training module, "Ethics Training for
Acquisition Technology and Logistics." This training is in addition to
your organization's annual ethics training requirement. As of September
12, 2005, 103,705 members of the AT&L community have completed this
training.

If you have not completed this training please consult with your
supervisor and accomplish the training as soon as possible. In order to
receive credit for this training you must register online. Please start
the online registration process by going to
https://learn.dau.mil/html/clc/Register.jsp and select your appropriate
service/agency link.
