_____Rough drafts (most recent) to compliment the aforementioned 6 final pieces. The required piece rough drafts should be typed with my comments (A,B,C) on them as well as your rubric that I filled out. Your creative piece rough drafts need to be the ones that I made my editing marks on.

_____A typed reflection paragraph (4-6 sentences) after each piece telling the following:

a. What errors you specifically fixed

b. How you specifically fixed those errors

c. Why you made the error in the first place

d. Identify a new rule you learned for future writing

_____2 typed Goal lists (one from each semester) and ways of attainment

_____3 Personal letters (typed or retyped if you scored less than a 19/20) with rough drafts (the letters that I graded)

_____2 Conference logs completed fully

_____2 Separate novel evaluations:

Throughout the year you were expected to read 3 novels independently. You only need to choose 2 of the 3 to evaluate. Your evaluations must answer only 1 of the following questions in a one-page, typed, double-spaced paper~

Which character in the novel do you most identify with and why? Be specific with details from your life and from the text.

Identify the theme of your independent novel and how does that theme coincide with any of the stories, plays, poems, etc. that we read in class? Specific details from both your book and the piece we read in class are required.

Please add creative art, graphics, pictures, etc. to make your portfolio your own piece of artwork.

All pieces will be placed in a small folder provided by me through your student fees. Unless you want to do a Googolio- see me if you do!

Portfolios are worth 50% of your exam grade.

Remember, you may not drop the portfolio portion if you have perfect attendance.

*If you refuse to do the portfolio you will fail your final exam!

*Each piece is worth points unlike the semester exam. Place rubric LOOSELY in the front of your portfolio with your name on it or 10 points off.

****10 points extra credit for turning portfolio in prior to your exam session!****
