Emails to Campus Departments,

Dear __________________,

The Community Service team in Campus Ministry would like to invite you to participate in our annual MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 19, 2015, to commemorate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. CUA students, staff, and alumni will volunteer at various sites around the DC area from the City of Hyattsville to Armed Forces Retirement Home and more.

Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl. But by all means, keep moving forward.” Participating in our MLK Day of Service is one way that we can do our part to keep moving forward. Make it a day on instead of a day off.

We encourage you and your staff to join us on this day. You are welcome to sign up individually, or if you and your staff can volunteer as a group. Please visit our website service.cua.edu for more information and contact with any questions. We look forward to seeing you on January 19. Thank you so much!

Regards,

Community Service Team
