Elections Ballot Paper for Parent Governor Elections

NAME OF SCHOOL: SCHOOL

NO. OF VACANCIES:

Please read carefully the following instructions.

1.The Candidates who are standing for election have been invited to produce a brief statement to let other parents know more about themselves, their views on the development of the school and other relevant points. These statements have been reproduced and are being sent to parents with this ballot paper.

2.You may deliver the completed ballot paper personally to the school or send it by post to ensure that it is received at the school by NOON on XXXXX 20XX.

3.Each ballot paper, however returned to the school, should be in a plain sealed envelope, which in turn is inside a sealed envelope, which has the name of the parent (and their child(ren)?s name who are at the school) voting written on the outside. This 'double envelope' system is necessary so that those voting can then be checked against the school register as a way of ensuring that only those entitled to take part in the ballot actually do so and the ballot remains secret.

4. YOU MAY VOTE FOR NOT MORE THAN ...... CANDIDATE(S) BY PLACING 'X' IN THE LAST COLUMN AGAINST YOUR CHOICE.
