CLASSROOM RULES AND PROCEDURES:
A. Be on time. Students must be on their assigned seats when the tardy bell rings.*
B. Be prepared. Bring all needed material to class (pen, pencil, paper, dictionary is optional, etc)*
--You will need a binder/folder (will be checked and graded every 9 weeks period for a major grade) divided into the following sections:
1. Notes 2.Classwork 3. Journals 4.Tests / Projects
---You will also be using a USB flash drive (256MB or more) to save projects/work
C. Assigned seats. Students must remain on their assigned seats unless teacher makes changes*.
D. Leaving the classroom. Student is not permitted to leave the classroom unless it is an emergency or he/she is called from the office (must have a pass and must be wearing ID). Teacher will dismiss class. Make sure you go to the restroom and drink water during transition.
E. Homework. Make sure your homework is legible and well organized.* Papers with no name will be given a zero.
F. Attendance. If student has five unexcused absences or more, he/she will lose credit for the class. If your absence is excused make sure that you ask for missing work before or after school.
G. Cheating. Any talking or copying during exams will result in a zero for that particular paper and a call to the student’s parents/guardian.
H. Expected behavior. Respect yourself and others. Please use appropriate language in classroom.* No talking when teacher is talking/giving instructions. It is expected that student is ready to work with a positive attitude and cooperates by participating in classroom activities. Student must follow classroom rules as well as the school’s code of conduct.*
* Consequences:
1. Warning/Conference with student
2. Detention (20 min) after school
3. Call parents/guardian
4. Conference with parents/guardian
5. Referral to office
SEVERE CLAUSE: IMMEDIATE REFERRAL TO OFFICE
I. Other information. It is prohibited to bring food, soft drinks, headphones, I pods, caps, hats, video games, magazines, cell phones, radios, or cards to the classroom. If used in the classroom these items will be confiscated and sent to the office where you will have to pay a fine in order to get them back.
If you have any questions regarding the class, lesson, or if something was
not completely understood, don’t hesitate to ask. If you need tutoring ask so arrangements can be made. My conference periods are 2a and 3b.

REGLAS DE LA CLASE:
A. Ser puntual. Todos los estudiantes deberán estar en sus asientos cuando suene la última campana.*
B. Estar preparados. Traer todos los materiales necesarios a la clase (lápiz, pluma, papel)
--Necesitaran una carpeta / folder (que será revisado al final de cada 9 semanas para una calificación mayor) dividido con separadores en las siguientes secciones:
1. Notas 2.Trabajo en clase 3. Diarios 4.Pruebas / Proyectos
---También necesitarán traer una memoria USB flashdrive para guardar documentos/proyectos.
C. Asientos. Todos los estudiantes deberán permanecer en sus asientos asignados por la maestra, a menos de que ella los cambie de lugar.*
D. Salida del salón. No está permitido abandonar el salón a menos de que sea una emergencia o el estudiante sea llamado de la oficina. En caso de salir del salón el estudiante deberá llevar su identificación y un pase (asegurarse de ir al baño y tomar agua entre clases)
E. Tarea. Asegurarse de que la tarea se entregue a tiempo y que esté organizada y legible.* A los trabajos que no tengan nombre se les dará un cero.
F. Asistencia. Si el estudiante tiene 5 o más faltas injustificadas perderá el crédito de la clase. Si su falta está justificada, el alumno es responsable de pedir el trabajo antes o después de clase/escuela.
G. Hacer trampa. A cualquier alumno que esté hablando o copiando durante un examen, se le dará un cero y se le comunicará a los padres/tutor.
H. Expectativas. Favor de respetarse y respetar a los demás. Usar solamente lenguaje apropiado para el salón de clase*. No se permite hablar cuando la maestra esté hablando o dando instrucciones. Se espera que el alumno venga listo para trabajar con una actitud positiva y coopere participando en las actividades de clase. El alumno deberá obedecer éstas reglas y las reglas del código de conducta de la escuela. * Consecuencias:
a. Llamada de atención/ Junta con estudiante
b. Castigo (20 min) después de escuela

- Oficina
SITUACIÓN GRAVE: SE REFERIRÁ AL ESTUDIANTE A LA OFICINA INMEDIATAMENTE
I. Other information. Se prohíbe traer comida, bebidas, audífonos, I pods, cachuchas, gorros, videojuegos, revistas, teléfonos celulares. Si se les encuentra usando estos artículos en clase, serán confiscados y mandados a la oficina donde se tendrá que pagar una multa para recuperarlos.
Si tienen alguna pregunta acerca de la clase o las reglas no duden en comunicarse. Si necesita ayuda con la tarea háganmelo saber para ponernos de acuerdo. Mis periodos libres son el 2a y 3b.
