Contestant Rules:

Participant fees: $10.00 (single entry) $25.00 Group Entry

Acts will be judged in three categories: (ages 3-12, 13-20, 21 & over)

Overall Grand Prize Winners: 1st, 2nd , 3rd Place

Participants must wear appropriate attire.

Lyrics must be appropriate (no profanity)

Music must be turned in by no later than March 29th (CD’s only) and must be Karaoke or instrumental (without original lyrics) Music with lyrics will be disqualified.

Age is determined by the District Talent Show date.

All judge’s decisions are final

I understand that my consent to these provisions is given in consideration of the acceptance of this registration and for being permitted to participate in this event. I am a voluntary participant in this event, and in good physical condition. I hereby assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur during my participation in this event or while on the premises of this event, and I hereby release and hold harmless and covenant not to file suit against the Edgewood Council of PTA’s and its local Affiliates and any affiliated individuals, the Edgewood Council of PTA’s and any affiliated individuals, any sponsors and their agents and employees, and all other persons or entities associated with this event from any loss, liability, damage or claims I may have arising out of my participation in the event, including personal injury. I give my full permission to Edgewood Council and its local Affiliates and their sponsors and corporate partners to use any photographs, videotapes, or other recordings of me that are made during the course of this event.

I understand that any false information may result in disqualification of the show. I understand that if I have not adhered to the attached rules and guidelines of the District Talent Show, I will be disqualified.
