This week’s agenda:

· Discussed progress of the Ridan fruit composting whilst Mrs Thomas was off

· Shared progress of our homemade compost bottles at home

· Discussed The Pod Waste Week for Schools and showed Powerpoint

· Discussed why our school has an increased level of waste

· Shared ideas that kitchen staff and MTA’s have used to reduce waste so far

· Showed group The Pod Waste Week ideas

Issues/questions raised:

Lily-Mai is whole school register monitor and explained she was keeping an eye on lights being left on unnecessarily in the morning.

Group would like a visit to a landfill site.
