Scholarship Application


Application Criteria:

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide scholarship support to full-time undergraduate students at East Carolina University. The award will be based upon financial need and not academic achievements. The total scholarship awarded is $3,000 per year. The following criteria will be followed:

1. Incoming freshman from East or West Montgomery High School.

2. GPA under 3.5 in high school.

3. Participants should participate in extracurricular activities, have a proven job their junior and senior year of high school, and show a potential for academic success.

4. Scholarship recipients can keep the scholarship their sophomore year as long as they are enrolled at ECU, are employed, and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. In order to maintain the scholarship their junior and senior year, they must pursue a degree in the College of Engineering and Technology, be employed, and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
