Dressage Masters Top 10 League
This competition is designed to promote dressage competition and participation for Masters Riders. The Flying Horse series provides an opportunity for riders to compete against peers at five different levels at all levels of events and competition regardless whether riders compete locally, regionally or nationally. The competition will be open to riders 50 years and over and is run in five main divisions plus special awards.
Competition runs from 1 May 2016 to 30th April 2017
Section 1 (Area and National) For CN – C2 Riders on horses graded Level 1 and Level 2 at 1st August 2016
Section 2 (Area and National) For C3 & C4 Riders on horses on graded Level 1 and Level 2 at 1st August 2016
Section 3 (Area and National) For C3 & C4 Riders on horses graded Level 3 and above at 1st August 2016
Section 4 (Area and National) For C5 - C9 Riders on horses graded Level 1, 2 & 3 at 1st August 2016
Section 5 (Area and National) For C5 - C9 Riders on horses graded Level 4 and above at 1st August 2016
Newcomer (First year member) Open to new ESNZ competitive member joined since 1/4/2016
Island Hi-Points Award Highest Score in each Island
Amateur Owner Horse with top score starting with zero grading points at date of purchase by current Owner Combo Award Highest age horse/rider combined – please include ages on card
Conditions
1. Riders must be 50 years and over at 1 May 2016 to enter
2. Competition runs from 1 May 2016 until 31st March 2017
3. Maximum of 10 scores to count from events on the official DNZ Calendar
4. Separate cards for each horse are to be kept.
5. Downgraded horses are eligible
6. In the event of a tie, the highest top 5 average percent will be deemed the winner
7. Participants must be annual competitive members of the ESNZ
8. All participating horses must be registered and have annual starts for graded competitions

Record cards
Available by sending SAE (DLE size) to the Sport Manager, or may be downloaded from Dressage resource section on www.nzequestrian.org.nz Full conditions for the competition are printed on the record card. Riders must be annual competitive members of the ESNZ. All participating horses must be registered and have annual starts for graded competitions.
Cards must be returned to Area Delegates by 24th March 2017
Hand cards to delegates or send to delegate listed official Year Book address
Delegates return cards to Sport Manager by 5pm 7th April 2017

Category 4 / (C4) For riders who have never earned grading points at any level above Level 4
Category 5 / (C5) For riders who have never earned grading points at any level above Level 5 and riders who have ridden at ESNZ Advanced Horse Trials
Category 6 / (C6) For riders who have never earned grading points at any level above Level 6

Category M / (CM) Masters. For Riders 55yrs & over (age from the beginning of the calendar year that the rider turns 55)
