Dr. Sara Boucchechter

Licensed Clinical Psychologist


Dr. Boucchechter is a multilingual and multicultural (Spanish, Hebrew and Sign Language) Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She earned her Doctorate and Masters Degrees in Clinical Psychology from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Springfield, Missouri. Dr. Boucchechter also earned Master Degree in Deafness and Counseling from New York University in New York City. She specializes in Crisis Intervention. Dr. Boucchechter past and current professional work includes: Psychological services for the Atlanta Police Department, International Consultant to Delta Airlines Critical Incident Response Team. She Provided assessment, debriefing, immediate and follow–up treatment to victims and their families during September 11th 2001, 2000 Earth quake in El Salvador, 1999 Mud Slides in Venezuela, and 1998 Swiss Air 111 crash. Also was a member of the Psychologist team with the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games and responded to the Atlanta Olympic Park bombing. In the last ten years Dr. Boucchechter has been offering psychological services including individual, couples, child and family psychotherapy as well as psychological testing. Her professional experience includes extensive work with children, adolescents, and their families. She is a member of the Georgia Psychological Association, the International Police Psychology Association and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Her primary area of interests is providing direct services to the community at large and making a difference in the life of those in need of her services.
