Dr. Joachim (Achy) Yahalom has been practicing at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center for over 25 years. He is currently appointed as Member with Tenure; in addition, he is also the Vice Chairman for Academic Programs for the Department of Radiation Oncology and acts as the Co-Leader of the Center’s Lymphoma Disease Management Team.

Dr. Yahalom is a Professor of Radiation Oncology at Weill Medical College of Cornell University and the Co-Director of the Radiation Oncology Residency Program. Dr. Yahalom is the Chairman of the International Lymphoma Radiation Oncology Group (ILROG) and serves on the editorial boards of several oncology journals, as well as on several NCCN guidelines committees.

Dr. Yahalom received his MD from Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He served in the Israeli Defense Forces in the rank of Major and later completed his training in Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology at Hadassah University Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel.
