Discovery Education - System requirements
Is it possible to download video files that have a higher resolution?
The standard 256 KB file format is the only format available for users who use the standard Internet access procedures to search the video library and download files to use in projects. Discovery Education also provides 700 KB files that offer higher resolution, but they are larger files that would be more difficult to download over the Internet, and so they are reserved for users who access files from a dedicated video server that is installed on their own networks.
Discovery Education works with either Windows Media Player or QuickTime. Both players are available for download via the help section of Discovery Education.

When installing Windows Media Player, you may be prompted to choose which browser version with which you want to install the Windows Media plug-in.
